Take it easy! If You Tested Positive on a DOT Drug Test, We Are the Solution

If you're a driver who tested positive in a drug test and is prohibited from driving, don't worry, we can assist you. Here are the steps you need to take to resume driving:

At Trucking Services and Logistic, we have all the tools to help you overcome this situation as follows:

  1. We assist you in creating your Clearinghouse account.

  2. We recommend Substance Abuse Professionals (SAP) approved by the DOT nationwide.

  3. We send you to a qualified laboratory to take the return-to-duty test, meeting all DOT requirements.

  4. We report your negative result in the Clearinghouse to remove the driving prohibition.

  5. We assist you in completing your follow-up tests as directed by the SAP until you finish your treatment plan, completing the steps and closing the violation in the Clearinghouse.

If you don't have your own company or one to endorse you, we can guide you step by step through the process. Here is the process that needs to be followed:

  1. Contact a qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) for an initial evaluation. The SAP will determine the level of treatment and education the employee needs to overcome their drug problem. Additionally, they will monitor the employee's progress, provide a recommendation to return to work, and authorize a return-to-work test (return to duty).

  2. Take the return-to-duty drug test. This test must be administered by a transportation company with a DOT number.

  3. If the test results are negative, they must be reported in the Clearinghouse to remove the prohibition from your records.

  4. Your transportation company or the one you work for must conduct follow-up tests as directed by the Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). These tests are random and unpredictable, aiming to prevent relapses. If you are required to take one, you must do so immediately. Failure to do so is considered a refusal and is equivalent to a positive result.

  5. Once you complete the entire follow-up plan provided by the Substance Abuse Professional, including the required tests, you must report compliance with it in the Clearinghouse to close the violation in the system.
